A woman is dead after reportedly falling in the water in Owen County.
The Department of Natural Resources reports that about 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, authorities were called to the Upper Falls in Cataract State Recreation Area. The 61-year-old female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not released the victim’s name or official cause of death pending the notification of the next of kin and the completion of an autopsy.
