IN WASHINGTON, POLICE STOPPED A VEHICLE FOR A
TRAFFIC VIOLATION AT N.E. FIRST AND PEARL STREETS.
DURING THE INVESTIGATION OFFICERS ARRESTED JASON
HENSLEY, TAYLOR WETTER, BRANDY HARDIMAN AND A
JUVENILE FOR POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE,
POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA AND MAINTAINING A
COMMON NUISANCE. HENSLY, WETTER AND HARDINMAN
WERE ALSO CHARGED WITH CONTRIBUTING TO THE
DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR.
A MAN REPORTED A CAR DROVE THROUGH HIS YARD AT 705
N.W. SECOND STREET DAMAGING A ROSE BUSH AND
DECORATIVE WAGON WHEEL. OFFICERS FOLLOWED THE
TRACKS IN THE SNOW TO A VEHICLE PARKED AT A
NEIGHBORS HOME.
A WOMAN AT JAMESTOWN SQUARE APARTMENTS BUILDING
108 COMPLAINED TO POLICE THAT SOMEONE WAS STEALING
HER GROCERIES.
IN VINCENNES, PEGGY SUE CROWTHERS OF WHITELAND WAS
ARRESTED FOR A MISDEMEANOR FOR SHOPLIFTING AT
616 N. BIERHAUS OR KOHLS DEPARTMENT STORE.
FOUR MITCHEL AREA MEN WERE ARRESTED AS PART OF A
GROUP OF EMPLOYEES WHO WERE CHARGE WITH THE THEFT
OF GASOLINE FROM THEIR EMPLOYER. ALL FOUR WORKED
AT THE LEHIGH CEMENT COMPANY IN MITCHEL. LEHIGH
HAD HIRED A DETECTIVE AGENCY WHO WERE ABLE TO
PRESENT TO THE INDIANA STATE POLICE WITH IN DEPTH
INFORMATION THAT LEAD TO THE EXECUTION OF A
LAWRENCE COUNTY SEARCH AND ARREST WARRANT.
ARRESTED WERE BRYAN TOLLIVER, 36 OF MITCHELL,
CHARLES LIVINGSTON, 48 OF MITCHEL, AND JUSTEN
HENDERSON, 42 OF MITCHELL.
