Sara “Sally” C. Roseberry, of Washington, passed away Friday at 2:15 p.m. at Amber Manor in Petersburg.
She was born in Washington to Mary Fern (Twitty) and Charles Ross.
She was a 1955 Washington Catholic High School graduate and won the title of Miss VU before graduating from Vincennes University. Sally was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She retired from White River Co-op. She loved to travel and loved Christmas year round. And her beloved dog, Belle.
She is survived by her husband Steven “Steve” Roseberry, whom she married July 10, 1982, and her nephew, Ryan Miller, whom she helped raise.
Preceding her in death are her parents and one brother, Francis Ross.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a wake service at 3:30 p.m., at Ed Lee Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
