In personnel actions the Board voted to hire Laura Allison as an elementary teacher, and three new faculty members at Washington High School: Hannah Rodimel (RODE-eye-mul) in English, Nathan Martindale in Social Studies, and Tabitha Hodges in Ag. Education.
The Board also hired Lindsey Clark as the new secretary at Lena Dunn.
The school board also officially accepted the resignation of Asst. Superintendent Dr. Paul White. Dr. White has accepted the superintendent’s position at New Prairie, and the White family will be relocating to the South Bend area. Dr. White said he’s thankful for the six years he’s spent at Washington.
Also the Board accepted the resignations of five part time elementary cooks, and corporation attorney, Jennifer Johnson.
