For the first time in more than three decades a Supermoon is going to happen this weekend at the same time as a lunar eclipse.
Officials with NASA say that the phenomenon means the moon will appear 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter.
The Supermoon eclipse will happen on the 27th and be visible late during the night on Sunday.
It will last just over an hour and peak sometime around 10:45. The next Supermoon eclipse isn’t estimated to happen until 2033.
