An accident Sunday morning in Gibson County resulted in a fatality.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department reports that the crash happened at 11:15 local time about 15 miles southwest of Princeton, on Gibson County Road 800-south just west of Gibson County Road 1050-West.
Emergency teams arrived to find both occupants of a 2001 Ford Ranger had been killed. Investigators say the vehicle was east on 800-South and appeared to have lost controlled due to excessive speed. Alcohol was not a factor.
The names of the accident victims have not been released.
