The pregnant wife of an Indianapolis pastor who was shot in her home Tuesday morning has died. Police believe 28-year-old Amanda Blackburn was shot during a robbery while trying to defend herself. The couple’s young son was in the home at the time, but was not hurt. Pastor Davey Blackburn came home from the gym to find his wife shot. IMPD posted on Facebook that Crime Stoppers was offering a reward for information. Residents of the north side neighborhood held a crime watch meeting last night. Crime watch captain Ryan McConnell says many people are feeling afraid and angry, but they are focusing those feelings on coming up with an action plan to make the neighborhood safer. No arrests have been made. Police say Mr. Blackburn is not considered a suspect.
