Burglary investigation nets five

Two more people were arrested early yesterday morning in connection with a burglary that happened Wednesday night.
As reported yesterday, 45-year-old Tami Aldrich was jailed for burglary and theft charges and Robert Burton and Taylor Jones both of Vincennes were in a vehicle with Aldrich at the time and were jailed on possession charges.  The arrests came after a 10:30pm burglary report on Wednesday where guns and an antique kettle were reported taken from a Washington residence.
During a normal traffic stop, a van with the three was stopped and permission was given for a search and that’s when illegal drugs were found.  Another city officer had stopped by according to the Washington Times Herald and noticed the antique kettle from the burglary report.  Aldrich then told police some stolen guns were in the van.
After following up on the investigation, police were led to Odon where 20-year-old Logan Aishe and 49-year-old Mathew Aishe were both arrested on various nuisance charges as well as drug and weapon possession.  Some of the guns are believed to have been from the burglary.  Washington and State Police and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department worked together in the incident.
