Donald “Junky” Collison Sr., 86, of Washington

Donald “Junky” Collison Sr., 86, of Washington, IN, went to his Heavenly Home with his family by his side on April 13, 2016. 
He was born on November 18, 1929 in Washington, IN, to Martin Black and Ruth (Rose) Collison. He was a 1948 Washington High School graduate. He worked as an Engineer on the B&O/CSX Rail Road. Donald was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, going to auctions, and trying new restaurants. He was an avid sports fan, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Donald Lloyd Collison Jr. (Kathy L.), Vicki Collison Bubalo (Alan), Terri Collison Scheele (Dennis), Joseph Alan Collison (Peggy Sue), and James Martin Collison (Shannon); sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; siblings Toni Osmon (Ben), Kate Gwaltney, and special friends Ross Lovett (Beverly). He is preceded in death by his parents Martin Black and Ruth (Rose) Collison; William H. Collison, Wanita Collison, Clara May Burton (Harley), Ernie Collison (Ruth), and brother-in-law Henry Gwaltney.
The funeral service honoring the life of Donald will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1:00pm at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut Street, Washington, IN 47501. A Masonic Service will begin at 12:50pm. Friends may call prior to the service from 9:30am-1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Lodge of Washington, IN.
