No foul play is suspected in the death caused by drowning.
The man found dead in Dubois County Wednesday night has been identified. Property owners found 43-year-old Kenneth Gauker of Plainfield, Indiana in the shallow part of a pond north of Jasper near Dubois County Road 600-north. After an autopsy Thursday morning, it was determined that Gauker died of drowning. It’s not known why he was in the water and no foul play is suspected.
