Trump in Indy today

GOP Presidential front runner to appear at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 3 today.
 

With the New York primary over, the presidential candidates are turning their attention to Indiana.
Donald Trump kicks things off this afternoon with a 3 p-m rally at the State Fairgrounds. Doors open at noon.
On Thursday, Texas Senator Ted Cruz will appear at Republicans’ annual spring fundraising dinner. The party says Trump and Ohio Governor John Kasich have been invited. Trump is flying to Maryland after the Indianapolis event for an evening rally, but hasn’t released his schedule for Thursday.
Trump has already made Indy a talking point on the campaign trail, blasting Carrier’s decision to move 14-hundred Indianapolis jobs to Mexico. Despite Trump’s frequent denunciations of the company, the plant’s United Steelworkers local announced Monday it’s endorsing Democrat Bernie Sanders. The union calls the Vermont senator the only candidate “who will do something to stop this kind of corporate greed if he is elected – because he’s been fighting against it for years.”
Five northeastern states vote next week, but Indiana offers more delegates than Delaware and Rhode Island combined. On the Republican side, most of Pennsylvania’s delegates are unbound, meaning Indiana will have more pledged delegates at stake than any of next week’s states.
