The Petersburg Police Department is reaching out to the public to solve burglaries that happened early Monday at the Smokehouse and Fish Hut Restaurants.
According to the department a suspect caused damage at both businesses and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Video surveillance shows that the burglar was carrying a handgun at the time of the incident. They say other surrounding counties have reported similar incidents.
