Logan W. Craney, 24, of Cannelburg, passed away Friday, May 13.
 

Logan W. Craney, 24, of Cannelburg, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
He was born November 18, 1991 in Jasper, IN to Terry and Denise (Mattingly) Craney.
Logan was a 2010 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School. He then attended Vincennes University and graduated with a degree in welding. Logan enjoyed hunting, farming, and thoroughly enjoyed life.
He was employed by National Gypsum and Burris Farms. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Logan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alice C. and Warren Mattingly; paternal grandparents, Joanne and Leo Craney; uncle, John Kirts.
He is survived by his parents, Terry and Denise (Mattingly) Craney of Loogootee; sister, Kyla (Tyler) Greene of Loogootee; brother, Lance Craney of Loogootee; nephew, Cale Greene; niece, Kora Greene; aunts, Kathy Berry of Montgomery and Nancy Kirts of Columbus, IN; uncles, Tony (Sherri) Craney of Princeton and Dennis (Joanne) Harmon of Odon; many cousins and special friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker and concelebrants, Rev. Joseph Erbacher and Rev. Leo Kieselat 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Cemetery.
