Mary A. Walton, 86, of Loogootee, passed away Wednesday.
Mary A. Walton, 86, of Loogootee, passed away at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 2016 at her home.
She was born October 17, 1929 in Martin County to the late Alfred and Wilma (Way) Clark.
Mary was a member of the Loogootee United Methodist Church. She loved her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid quilter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral (Sam) Walton; grandson, Willie Walton; parents, Alfred and Wilma (Way) Clark; brothers, Bob Clark, Jim Clark and Bill Clark; sister, Betty Sutton.
Mary is survived by her children, Terry (Mary) Walton, Tony (Judy) Walton, Nancy Phillips, Debbie (Gary) Lannan and Sandy (Chris) Burch, all of Loogootee; grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Shannon (Ryan) Biggs, Adam (Julie) Walton, Scott (Keegan) Osmon, Angie (Chris) Sutton, Steven (Sarah) Burch, Brad Osmon, Trisha (Mitch) Wagler, Craig Burch, Sam (Chelsea) Lannan, Ali (Alan) Bowling, Emilee Lannan and Liz Burch; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank Clark, John Clark, Jack Clark, Fred Clark and Tom Clark; sister, Margie Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Loogootee United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at Loogootee United Methodist Church and Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Loogootee United Methodist Church.
