Gary Parker, 65, of Petersburg, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence.
He was born May 22, 1951, in Washington, the son of Oliver F. and Ernestine (Wilson) Parker.
He was retired coal miner and worked in construction as an electrician. He was a member of the Jasper Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge and Petersburg VFW honorary member.
He is survived by a sister, Sharon Clinard of Petersburg; two nieces, Libby Warlan and her daughter Baleigh, and Abby (Heath) Briggeman and her sons, Kyson and Kaelyn.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Janet Louise Parker.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg. Burial will be in Walnut Hills Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, Petersburg.
