Nancy J. Solliday, 78, of Washington, passed away Thursday.
Born June 3, 1938, in Dover Hill, she was the daughter of the late Logan and Ada Mae (Singleton) Hobson. She was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. On June 17, 1956, she married Kenneth Solliday in Washington. Nancy worked in the banking industry as a teller and later a branch manager for a total of 27 years. She was a member of O.E.S. in Washington, and was of Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; a son, Jeffrey (Terri) Solliday; two daughters, Kathi (Denny) Hill and Dawn (Steve) Banks; a brother, Mike Hobson; two sisters, Carole (Marvin) Poland and Sue (Dick) Alberti; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Gill Funeral Home, with Pastor Dean Stuckey officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
