A Washington man received a suspended sentence yesterday in Daviess Superior Court after pleading guilty in May to Level 4 Felony Child Molesting.
The Washington Times Herald reports Rudy Myers received 21.3 days credit for time already served of 64 days total, and was sentenced to 4,320 days in jail, which was suspended. The charges were from a November 2014 incident involving an inappropriate act with a child. A 2nd count at the time of the arrest was dismissed.
The 66 year old will have to register with the Sheriff’s Department as a sex offender, not live within 1,000 feet of a school or youth facility, and cannot live within a mile of the victim. He agreed to have his personal computer searched at anytime.
