At a special signing ceremony at Washington High School, Monday morning, a WHS senior baseball player, Ben Lambert, announced he will be attending Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne,Indiana. Ben talked about what attracted him to the Indiana Institute of Technology.
Indiana Tech assistant baseball coach Zack Huttie ( Hut-ee) said Ben was recruited because of his character, along with his baseball abilities.
Ben, who is also plays tennis for WHS, is the son of Chris Lambert and Dana and Ray Arvin. Indiana Tech is an NAIA school with 8,800 students located in Ft. Wayne.
