Jacqueline A. Baker, 79, of Loogootee, passed away at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at The Timbers of Jasper.
She was born February 16, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Jack and Victoria (Pulaski) Ellis.
Jacky was a member of the K of C Ladies Auxiliary, America Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
She loved playing cards and bingo. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Jacky was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Baker; parents, Jack and Victoria (Pulaski) Ellis.
She is survived by her children, Mike Baker of Shoals, Steve (Lisa) Baker of Shoals, Jamie (Lana) Baker of Bloomington and Kim (Roger) Kyger of Loogootee; grandchildren, Lance Baker, Cara (Jason) Wyman, Katherine (Cameron) Ochs, Danny (Lisa) Baker, Brand (Samantha) Baker, Candace (Travis) Roush, Sarah Young, Jill Baker, Matthew Baker, Joshua (Waynessa) Franklin, Jarret Franklin, and Justin Franklin; 13 great-grandchildren and one to arrive in February 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
