Newburgh architect firm to begin design phase soon on the Old National Bank Building in downtown Washington
Turning a main street building into an annex for the county courthouse took another step forward this week. The Daviess County Commissioners hired Lamar Architects and Design out of Newburgh to refurbish the old Old National Bank Building into an annex.
Daviess County Commissioner’s President Michael Taylor informed the County Council of the move on Wednesday saying the project will move to the design phase with construction slated to start in the spring of next year. Taylor was asked if a committee will be formed to oversee the project…
Funding the conversion of the building and deciding which offices will moved to the new annex remains to be discussed and decided.
