With thousands once again expected downtown in Washington on Saturday, city officials do have a few reminders.
As people gather for the K of C Treasure Hunt draw, remember to stay off of the first block of Main off juste west of 57.
The place to be is west of 4th on Main, or on 4th or South Streets. Remember to please keep Main from 57 west to 4th Street open.
Also a reminder, that the city parking lot next to the school corporation offices and the Jay Myers lot will be closed for concession stand use only.
Also parking in several of the high school lots will be closed to general parking Saturday evening. Those lots will be limited to those with Bicentennial Concert Tickets who are attending the sold-out Herman’s Hermits concert at Washington High School.
Plan ahead and use extra time and caution if you plan to be downtown Saturday evening.
