A public hearing is set for May 19th at Vincennes University on a proposed tuition hike.
The proposal is to increase the cost four dollars from $162 to $166 per credit hour for the 2018-19 school year. The extra money is needed according to VU officials for repair and rehabilitation and rising instructional costs.
The hearing will be seen via-Video Conference around Indiana including the VU location in Gibson County and the VU Jasper Campus.
