Stephen Haug of Ferdinand, Indiana
The Petersburg Police Department Facebook page reports they recently arrested a Ferdinand man in an online predator investigation.
As part of a sting operation to find child predators online, Petersburg police deployed decoys acting as young children on social media sites. 60-year-old Stephen Haug was arrested after having a sexually explicit conversation with a supposed 13 year old girl and making arrangements to meet her. He was taken into custody when he arrived at the meeting place.
