It’s Memorial Day Weekend and the Click or Ticket Campaign continues.
Indiana State Police have been strengthening patrols for two weeks in the effort to enforce seatbelt laws through June 4th.
Troopers are working overtime to conduct seat belt patrols around the clock. According to ICJI, in 2016, there were 827 people killed on Indiana roadways. Of those fatalities, 36 percent were found to be unrestrained.
In addition to checking for unrestrained drivers, troopers will also be targeting those who drink and drive or dangerously.
