-A woman was injured after being hit by a car while on a bicycle yesterday. Official accident reports were unavailable. The call went out at 1:44 to the scene at Southeast 2nd and South Streets. The unnamed woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital with lower back pain.
-Police and Emergency medical were called to a home on Troy Road yesterday afternoon in reference to a man falling into a pool and then reported to be not breathing. The call went out at 6:16pm and Southwest Medical arrived a few minutes later. The person was taken to the ER and DCH.
-An Evansville woman was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department yesterday on a warrant for a petition to revoke regarding domestic battery. Bond was set at $5000.
-A man was arrested following a property damage accident on Washington Avenue in Vincennes just after midnight last night. 49-year-old John P. Meadows was taken to the Knox County Jail charged with operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction and driving while suspended.
