Lois Dunkerly Bosecker, 85, of 2068 East Bosecker Road, passed away on Sunday June 11, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on March 21, 1932 in Widner Township in Knox County, Indiana to Miles and Helen (Ritterskamp) Dunkerly.
A member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Lois had worked at the Credit Bureau in the 1950s and then helped on the family farm.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Maurice Bosecker whom she married on October 3, 1954; her sons, Scott (Joretta) Bosecker of Peachtree City, GA, Mark (Tammy) Bosecker of Vincennes, and Keith (Connie) Bosecker of Vincennes; a sister, Linda Woods of Bicknell; her grandchildren, April Marie Smith, Kimberly Berneice Abney, Garrett Miles Bosecker, Jacob Tyrell Bosecker, Evan Richard Bosecker, and Kendra Lynn Burbrink, and two great grandchildren, Lillie Marie & Isabellle Kathryn Smith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and three brothers, Wayne, Donald, and Gordon Dunkerly.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday June 14 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Rev. Nathan Rastl officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery or the donor’s choice.
