Authorities released more information last night of a Monday afternoon ATV crash near Montgomery involving three boys.
The DNR says the ATV was being operating by an 11 year old boy at 4:14-pm at the intersection of county roads 775-East and 500-North. Officers say the ATV did not yield the right of way and clipped the back end of a van and flipped onto it’s side. The driver suffered minor injuries, one 11 year old passenger had non life threatening head and leg injuries and was later flown to an Evansville Hospital. A 9-year-old boy, also on the ATV was not injured. None of the occupants were wearing helmets or safety gear.
