Lauren Andis crowned Fair Queen

The 2017 Daviess County Fair Queen has been crowned.   Lauren Andis won the title last night at the annual queen contest on opening night of the county fair.

 Lauren is 17 and is the daughter of Bob Andis and Sally Doyle from Montgomery and plans to study dental hygiene at USI staring in the fall of 2018.  She will be a senior at Washington High School this coming school year.

1st Runner Up at last night’s contest was Kelly Garcia.  Gracen Jarrett was 2nd Runner Up and Miss Congeniality

On the schedule tonight at the fair is a performance from the Dance Academy of Odon on the Main Stage.  Also tonight is the first night the rides will be open. The rides from James Gang Amusements will continue tonight through Saturday and unlimited ride bracelets are available each night.  Pedal tractor pulls are also part of the fair tonight.
