Beginning Saturday, drivers will pay an extra 10 cents per gallon for gas in Indiana to fund road improvements. The increase is part of a new gasoline tax approved by Gov. Eric Holcomb in April. The new law also requires Indiana drivers to pay an additional $15 when registering new vehicles. Registration for electric vehicles will cost an extra $150 and hybrids $50.
You can buy gasoline in Washington today for under $2 a gallon with prices ranging from a buck 95 to a buck 98.
Elsewhere, gas is 2.06 in Vincennes, 2.03 in Petersburg. Its 2.16 in Jasper and 1.85 in Loogootee.
