On Thursday September 21ST 2017, 37 individuals were served arrest warrants within multiple counties. While serving these arrest warrants, five additional arrests were made resulting in a total number of 42 individuals. Agencies report there are still six wanted individuals that are yet to be located.
The arrest warrants stemmed from drug investigations by the Indiana State Police, Washington Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration in Daviess and Knox County. Just before 7 A.M., teams consisting of multiple agencies began serving the warrants throughout Daviess, Knox, Martin, and Monroe counties. Some individuals were already incarcerated, but Officers report that all wanted subjects that were located, were arrested without incident. It’s reported additional amounts of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Marijuana, Syringes, Paraphernalia, and Firearms were located during the round up.
Officers from the following agencies were involved in making the arrests today: Washington Police Department, Indiana State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals, Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Knox County Sheriff’s Department, Martin County Sheriff’s Department, Vincennes Police Department, Odon Police Department, Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office, Daviess County Superior Court, Knox County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Knox County Superior Court.
