Sarah E. O’Connor, 96, of Vincennes, IN, passed away September 26, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Sarah was a factory worker. She worked at Universal Scientific and Hamilton Glass for over 30 years. After retiring, Sarah was a volunteer at the Senior Center before her health caused her to move to a nursing home. She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church.
Born September 18, 1921, in Martin County, IN, she was the daughter of Noah and Artie (Hanover) Seals. Her parents; her first husband, Russell Forman; her second husband, Michael O’Connor; her brothers, Noah Seals, Jr., Earl “Curly” Seals, and Marvin Seals; and her sisters, Edna Seals, Mildred Seals, and Fern (Seals) Tapley preceded her.
Surviving are her sisters, Harriett (Seals) Pittman of Indianapolis, IN, and Norma Jean (Seals) Neighbors; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 – 1:00 on Friday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:15 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
