-A North Daviess man suffered cuts, scratches and bruises when the ATV he was on flipped last (Sunday) night in Plainville. Daviess County Sherriff’s Department accident reports state that 27-year-old Zane Abbot of Elnora was operating a 2008 Kawasaki ATV at about 7:32-pm on property owned by Marsha Smith on 1st Street in Plainville. He was driving in the front yard and attempted a turn when the vehicle flipped. Abbot refused medical treatment at the scene.
-Full reports are not completed, but a vehicle driven by a motorist described as a reckless driver crashed at about 5:30 Saturday afternoon. Callers told the sheriff’s department that it was a burgundy Ford and was inverted after the crash. It happened on State Road 57 north of 600-North. Police logs state that the driver was taken by ambulance to Daviess Community Hospital following the crash.
