James P. Bradley

James P. Bradley, 82, passed away October 1, 2017 at Loogootee Health and Rehabilitation Center in Loogootee.

He was born at home in Loogootee to the late Philip and Helen (Nalin) Bradley on December 28, 1937.

Jim was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Club in Loogootee.

He graduated from St. John High School. He served in the U.S Army from 1957 – 1959 as a rocket specialist. In 1996, he retired from Crane Army Ammunition Activity after working for 32 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Jo (Allen) Bradley and his brother Jerome Bradley.

He is survived by his children; Tim Bradley and Eric Bradley, both of Loogootee, Chris (Leah) Bradley of Evansville, a sister; Barbara (Clarence D) Stevens, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. He is also survived by Mary Bowling and Michelle and Cate Okeson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker on Friday, October, 6 2017 at 10:00 A.M at St. John the Evangelist Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Loogootee.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 4:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John the Evangelist Church in Loogootee.
