Alfred L. Bloebaum, 81, of Decker, passed away at 11:00 am Monday October 2, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born in Decker, Indiana to Adolph and Hanamore (Curry) Bloebaum.
Alfred farmed his entire life, served in the Army and the National Guard, graduated from Decker High School, and was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church. He also raised and trained Australian Shepard dogs earning several national titles.
Surviving are his brother, Ron Bloebaum and his wife, Sheryl of Decker; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Bloebaum, Jeremy Bloebaum, and Kristi Safranek; and his great nieces and nephews, Jenna Bloebaum, Luke Bloebaum, and Tyler Safranek.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Rev. Nathan Rastl officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
