Clarence Junior Devine, 86 passed away at 8:25 am on October 25, 2017 at Bridgepointe Health Campus. Junior was born on May 6, 1931 in Vincennes the son of Clarence and Anna (Hicks) Devine and was raised by his mother and step-father, Anna and Edgar Chanley. He married Patricia Fields and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2008.
Junior owned and operated Devine Auto Sales for thirty years. He enjoyed camping and was a member of the American Legion, 40 et 8, Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include sons Mike Devine, Sr. of Vincennes; Herschel Buddy Devine of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Mike Devine, Jr., Joe Devine, Ron Devine, Kristy Harting, Diana White, Amanda and Jake Devine; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Devine; daughters, Diana Kay Devine, Cynthia Devine Carson; sons, Clarence Devine III, Ronald J. Devine; sister, Thelma Chanley; brother, Ronald Chanley; and daughter-in-law, Mary Devine.
Graveside services for Junior will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Roy Hall officiating. Friends may visit with Juniors family on Tuesday from 1:30 pm until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Legion.
