-A resident on Grand Avenue in Washington reported seeing a deer heading east toward the hospital at 8:11 am Wednesday morning. Animal control was notified but could locate the animal. Earlier at 2:45-am yesterday a deer was seen running on East National Highway near Griffith Elementary. An officer chased it off the and into the woods.
-There were two car/deer crashes reported in Daviess County Wednesday.
-At 10:12 am police were called to an accident near Clark Road in Washington. A vehicle was said to be on it’s top in a ditch.
-There was a property damage accident near Bobe’s on State Road 57 at 3-pm yesterday.
-25-year-old Trevor Miller of Washington was jailed yesterday on warrants for Forgery and Theft. Bond was set at $7500 and bond was posted. The arrest was made by the Sheriff’s Department.
-Washington Police arrested 38-year-old Rebecca Barthlow of Washington on warrants for Failure to Appear and for Forgery. No bond was set.
-Indiana State Police arrested 4 on drug possession charges in Knox County last night. 58-year-old Terry Wilson was booked into the Knox County Jail at just before 9-pm for several possession charges including Possession of Meth, a Syringe, Paraphernalia and Marijuana. He’s also charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 24-year-old Melinda Stodgill, 29-year-old Kayla Schuckert, and 19-year-old Alfonso Garcia face the same possession charges. Stodgill was also found to be wanted for two Failure To Appear warrants and a Probation Violation. Garcia also arrested on a Probation Violation and for Visiting a Common Nuisance. He was also charged with False Informing.
-18-year-old Kier Sardin was jailed in Knox County at just after 2 yesterday for Carrying a Handgun Without a License and Possession of Paraphernalia. The arrest was made by State Police.
-Knox County Police arrested 20-year-old Nathan Stokes Wednesday afternoon for Intimidation.
-Vincennes Police charged 27-year-old Carlos Behena with Pointing a Loaded Firearm at Another and for Battery with a Deadly Weapon. He was booked in at just before 6-am yesterday.
