Troopers Looking for Impaired Drivers

A sobriety checkpoint will be conducted tomorrow somewhere in Dubois County.
Indiana State Police say motorists should have their driver’s license and registrations ready to present to troopers when they come upon the checkpoint.  Police are looking to find and remove any impaired drivers from the road.
As we are into the holidays and celebrations, State Police remind us to designate a sober driver before consuming alcohol, if hosting a party, serve non-alcoholic drinks and make sure everyone leaves with a sober driver.
Motorists are encouraged to report any vehicle driving erratically by calling 911 and giving a description of the vehicle, it’s location and direction of travel.
