-A Washington man was jailed yesterday for Domestic Battery. No bond was set for 37 –year-old Kerly Pospere. The arrest took place after an 8:09 am report of a domestic incident on Southeast 4th Street.
-32-year-old Jeremy Butcher of Washington was picked up on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence. No bond was set.
-David Byers, 21 of Elnora was charged with Driving While Suspended with a Prior yesterday. The arrest was made by the Sheriff’s Department.
-Washington Police investigated Breaking and Entering reports at 5:36 yesterday morning on Ogden Street and on Southeast 3rd at 3-pm.
-There was a theft reported at the Northeast 5th Chuckles just after 7-am Thursday.
-Minor accidents were worked at parking lots yesterday at North Daviess School, at the Quick Care and Casey’s Washington. Another fender bender happened at about 4:30pm at McCormick and Northwest 10th. Also police were called to Southeast 2nd for a property damage accident at 5:40-pm.
-Two vehicles collided at Northeast 9th and East Van Trees yesterday around Noon. There were no injuries.
-A vehicle hit a city power pole at Thompson Insurance yesterday afternoon and left the scene.
-A vehicle hit a light post near a bench at East Side Park close the 4H Grounds last evening. Reports say the motorist may not have known they hit the pole. The incident exposed wires on the pole and broke the bench.
-Vincennes Police made a drug arrest last night. 30-year-old Meghan Ann Taft of Vincennes was arrested at 7-pm in the 1000 block of Main. She’s charged with Possession of Marijuana, Paraphernalia and a Syringe. She was also wanted on a Knox County warrant for Failure to Appear.
