A semi hauling an 80,000 lb transformer went off the road at 10:45 yesterday morning south of the Crane Gate on 231.
Reports say Charles Twa of Texas was driving north up a hill and went off the road and lost the load. The semi hit utility poles which caused a power and phone service outage in the area lasting several hours.
There were no injuries and minor damage to the semi.
