The Daviess County Museum’s online data base is now online.
Volunteers have cataloged over 4,200 items to research in the computer system which is used by over 800 museums in the nation. Museum Volunteer Bob McGuire told the The Washington Times Herald he found his great-great grandfather’s history and now has information on some property mentioned in his relative’s will.
Museum visitors can now use a laptop on the 2nd floor of the museum downtown and find where specific items are artifacts are located.
You can access the database from anywhere with your computer, tablet or smart phone and going to the museum’s website and following a link to it.
