Jackie Jake Colclasure

Jackie Jake Colclasure, 76, of Washington, IN, passed away on March 31, 2018 at Daviess Community Hospital.  He was born on June 2, 1941 in Clay City, IL to Clyde and Lola Alice (Lee) Colclasure.  He attended Clay City Schools and received his Associates Degree from Oakland City University.  Jack was in the Navy. He retired as a mechanic and then worked for Harner Trucking as a turkey hauler. Jack was a former American Legion member.  He enjoyed gardening and liked to tinker with old lawn mowers, especially the International Cub Cadets.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Lisa Joel Lamb; grandchild William Edward Lamb; brothers Gerald Ray Colclasure (Rita), Jiggs Colclasure; and sister Betty Jane Cooper.  He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Charles, Doc, Buck, Ivan, Tom, Mary Bell; and brother-in-law Gary Cooper.

The Memorial Service for Jack will take place on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11 am at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut Street, Washington, IN 47501.  Friends may call, prior to the service from 10-11am.  Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince1872.com.
