The Indiana State Auditor was in Washington yesterday. Tera Klutz was appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb to the office after former auditor Suzanne Crouch was elected Lt. Governor.
Klutz visited the Daviess County Courthouse and talked about her current campaign to be elected to the office she now holds.
She told the The Washington Times Herald about changes in her office since she was appointed. Those include new internal control policies and improving the process of checks and balances and being more transparent using the Indiana Transparency Portal. That’s an online site where anyone can search for information on state revenue, contracts, budgets and more.
