The cause of a fire that destroyed the D and G Timber Business on 900-East yesterday is still undetermined. There’s been no dollar amount loss given for the total loss of the building, however, the loss to the equipment inside was estimated at 2 million.
Madison Township Fire Chief Greg Clark told WAMW it took his department along with Montgomery, Odon, Cannelburg, Elnora and Washington Township Departments to contain the blaze which was reported about 1:45-am.
D and G makes railroad ties, pallets and crane mats.
There were no injuries in the fire.
