Two were arrested in Martin County after a traffic stop early Tuesday on US 50.
The Sheriff’s Department reports that at 2:14-am Tuesday, Deputy Tyler Reed saw a vehicle commit a moving violation and a traffic stop was made. He was assisted by his K9 unit as well as an officer from Looogotee and a State Trooper.
After a free air sniff by the dog, a positive hit was made and a search ensued. Found were smoking devices, a spoon a metal container and a plastic bag that all tested positive for meth residue. Also a smoking device with the smell of burnt marijuana and some marijuana was found.
Arrested were 35-year-old Jason K. Lentz of Columbus charged with Possession of Meth, Marijuana and Paraphernalia. 34-year-old Kristin L. Roberts of Nashville, IN was charged with Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia. Both were booked into the Martin County Jail.
