-Traffic was backed up on US 50 at 600-east in Montgomery after a semi went into a ditch. The incident reported at 1pm and was just past McCracken’s Curve. The road was shut down as crews worked to get the semi out. The road was closed until about 2:45. There were no injuries. The accident, which occurred along the detour on 50 because of construction, was attributed to the heavy rains softening the ground.
-Authorities worked an accident just before 8 yesterday morning on I69a t the 81 mile marker. A caller said shwas on her and she couldn’t get out. She was taken out of the vehicle and officials were on scene until about 9:20-am.
-50-year-old Jeffery L. Thompson of Indianapolis was arrested on a warrant yesterday. He was wanted for Failure to Appear for Driving While Suspended. Bond was posted.
