The Washington City council meets tonight in regular session.
The agenda includes the reading of a resolution to transfer funds in the Fire Department budget; the council will also hear the introduction of an ordinance amending the city’s compensation ordinance. The meeting starts at 6:30 at the council chambers located at 200 Harned Avenue in Washington. Following the council meeting the board of public works and safety will consider a request from Dr. Gerald Stroud for one or two handicap parking spaces in front of his office at 201 E. Main, formerly the German American Bank building. In addition the board will discuss the approval of a contract with INDOT regarding traffic signals.
