Barr Reeve School Superintendent Travis Madison said today in a statement to WAMW that he has decided to withdraw his verbal resignation from Barr Reeve and stay on as Superintendent. Madison announced last month he was leaving the post to take a job at Richland-Bean Blossom School Corporation in Monroe County. Madison said today that he has developed great relationships at Barr Reeve in the past 16 plus years and that he wants to keep those intact as well as continue moving forward with what has been built so far with the Vikings. Madison said he is very thankful for the support he has received from both the Barr Reeve School board as well as the local community and apologized for issues his indecisiveness has caused . Madison notified Richland-Bean Blossom of his decision to remain at Barr Reeve this week.
