After a two week hiatus, the pandemonium will be back at the Knights of Columbus this Saturday.
Tickets went back on sale today for the Treasure Hunt Jackpot Draw.
The Treasure Hunt returned this spring after a winter break. The contest starts with 52 numbers on a board with a prize behind each one. A player buys a ticket, puts their name and phone number and a number from the board on that ticket. If their name is drawn, officials look behind the number the player picked, and they win that prize if they are present at the drawing, if not they win half. It could be a small, medium or large amount. The contest goes until the big jackpot is won. There’s been no big winner so far in 2018, and we are down to two numbers, 35, and 50 with the big prize behind one of those. That big treasure has grown to over 2.2 million from the around $200,000 when the contest resumed in April. It’s expected that around $300,000 in tickets will be sold for this week’s drawing.
Thousands will be on Main Street Saturday as the draw takes place. It will be broadcast on Memories 107.9.
Tickets are on sale at the K of C daily this week starting at 10-am each and starting at 8-am Saturday. You are encouraged to buy your tickets early and not wait until the last minutes or hours before the draw.
