Max G. Ramsey, 59, of Washington, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 6:33 p.m. at Daviess Community Hospital.
Max was born on September 18, 1959 in Washington to Buddy (Max) and Jane (Tillie) Ramsey. Max was the owner and operator of Eaton Monument Company.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda J. (Garland) Ramsey, whom he married, July 5, 1980; two sons, Tyler Ramsey of Washington and Trey (Kaylee) Ramsey of Washington; stepbrother, Lew (Kris) Lenti of Washington; two granddaughters, Adalyn Jean and Ashlyn Jade; nephews, Roger (Terrah) Sparks of Vincennes, Josh (Angie) Sparks of Washington, Jace (Lizzie) Sparks of Vincennes; he is also survived by multiple sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
Max was preceded in death by his father, Buddy (Max) Ramsey; mother, Jane Frye; stepfather, Ott Frye; sister, Pam Ramsey.
A funeral service will be will be held on Thursday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Ed Lee North Chapel, 620 E Viola Ave, Washington, Indiana 47501. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26th, at Ed Lee North Chapel. Memorial donations may be given to St. John Cemetery Road Fund 101 North Meridian Street Washington, Indiana 47501.
