The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation continues to work to get a new oncology center at the hospital.
Spokesperson Angie Steiner…
The oncology center will make sure people don’t have to travel elsewhere to get treatment. Currently the hospital provides cancer treatment with the exception of radiation.
Money raised by the foundation will be used for construction, equipment and furniture. They are hoping to raise $300,000 and currently have over $80,000. Steiner says employees of the hospital have been generous in giving to the cause.
If you would like to give to the DCH Foundation to get the oncology center constructed. Call 812-254-8858 and Angie Steiner will get you information. The DCH Foundation Board is going out to businesses and individuals explaining the cause.
